Government Launches £2million Flexible Funding Pot for Domestic Abuse Survivors

I was delighted to read that the financial barriers facing victims of domestic abuse are being addressed, step by step. With the rise of a cashless society, survivors have already lost their financial independence, an abuser may have access to bank accounts. Without money it can be impossible to start afresh, this is good practical support that may provide a bridge to people to rebuild their lives.

The brilliant Women's Aid is working to distribute funding of £2million to provide payments to survivors of domestic abuse to help them escape abuse.
